I wanted to start a Blog on the United States Army's 29th Division for multiple reasons. One is to post stories my father wrote regarding his service in that unit during world war II. It's time for me to get these stories out to the general public. He originally wrote these stories for his buddies who served with him in the 29 Division, 116 regiment, E company.
Secondly, it will serve as an outlet for my gaming hobby during the WW 2 era. I currently enjoy playing Battlefront's Flames of War ruleset, as well as Memoir '44.Lastly, it may also occasionally serve as a medium for musings in general for a variety of subjects.
